Flow Cytometry Lab

Stanford Blood Center’s CLIA-certified Flow Cytometry Laboratory performs high-complexity clinical testing for patients while providing specialized flow cytometry services and expertise to researchers. The laboratory performs advanced characterization of Stanford Blood Center leukapheresis collection (leukopak) products to support research and clinical manufacturing applications. In addition, the laboratory offers consultation, training, and technical support to staff, students, postdoctoral scholars, and investigators in all aspects of flow cytometry, including experimental design, assay development, instrument operation, data analysis, and best laboratory practices.

  • BD LSRII equipped with UV, violet, blue, yellow green and red lasers (18 parameters)
  • BD FACSAria II equipped with violet, blue and red lasers  (14 parameters)
  • BD FACSCantoII equipped with blue, red and violet lasers (10 parameters)
